Soft and natural colors that recall the landscapes of the southern Italian coasts. Sea, sand and vegetation are the elements that inspired Gemma Margalef to create this collection.

Like all Caliu Milano pieces, the production is energy efficient and has a very low environmental impact. The materials used are reusable, biodegradable, recyclable and non-toxic. The lampshades are designed with the long life of the product in mind, making it removable, repairable, and durable.

Gemma Margalef Soldevila was born in Spain in Barcelona and now ​​has lived and worked in Milan since 2003.

Textile designer and founder of CALIU MILANO, she designs and creates unique and decorative lamps for every environment experimenting with new techniques with a particular attention to the conscious reuse of materials.
